I haven't watched Andy in years but I remember watching a color episode once with Ken Berry from Mama's Family.
It's so weird to see a show go from b&w to color. I feel the same way about Gunsmoke. Watched a select few episodes from the color era and it was strange.

I always wondered how Andy felt about Don Knotts stealing the show. Andy would get in on the joking but Don was over the top. Whoever came up with him having one bullet. That dude was in the zone.

In the earlier episodes Andy was playing up the country bumpkin thing more, but they figured out pretty quick that Barney being the funny one and Andy being the straight man was the perfect dynamic. Such a good show.
