Up until I saw it on release day, there was nothing to prepare me for how much of a stoner comedy it was. Apart from the first act, it's basically a cartoon with some heavy themes. 10x more Inherent Vice than There Will Be Blood. Anyone who tries to take real-world messages from it should be laughed at incessantly.
