The Americans with their arrogance and entitlement (particularly the male characters) blinds them to the danger as they underestimate the calculated hospitality by white supremacists. Dani’s arc on the otherhand reveals how white privilege can co-opt even the vulnerable into complicity with oppressive systems (=white fragility).We need more psycho horror movies!
