I watched 2 episodes of this and its a mess, is it worth finishing? I almost want to watch out of morbid curiosity for how bizarre it can get.

It was alright. I enjoyed it for the science fiction and small worldbuilding on the Alien Universe on the human side. But the finale is confounding, it really feels like a midseason cliffhanger rather than the final episode of a season.
>>214992780It's not. Episode 5 is the high point. It takes place in flashback on the ship that brings the alien. Everything else is just spinning wheels and plot contrivances. Some interesting themes are brought up but never seriously explored. It seems at times to have been made by people who don't actually like Alien or the universe it exists in.
I liked it a lot but desu I really disliked Prometheus, Alien 3 and 4. Haven't seen Romulus, and I'm one of those wankers who think Alien is better than Aliens. So make of that what you will
