>>214994991No, the show ruined Adult Swim. Before Rick and Morty, the channel was full of low-budget, experimental shows that filled a tv niche unlike any other network. Rick and Morty was basically a slightly edgier Fox show (especially after Season 3), and it's clear Adult Swim has shifted to repeating that model. Now Adult Swim doesn't even play the classic stuff after the Fox shows, it's just Rick and Morty followed by airing those same Fox show episodes over again, followed again by Rick and Morty and then more Fox until Cartoon Network starts. You'll be lucky to catch an episode of Aqua Teen now, let alone something like Squidbillies or Home Movies.

>>214998747The voice isn't so bad, it's the lack of Roiland style improv that you can feel. It's hard to quantify but it really added something to every episode. They already crowded out the Roiland influence on the writing so that part is not so different from season 4 onwards.
