Why cant we have more Event Horizon-likes?
reminder this was supposed to be a trilogy but first movie flopped so hard, they abandoned the whole thing
>from the producers of Dennis Quaid
>>215034917FuckMeanwhile the terror got assfucked by a second season nobody asked for same with raised by wolves and master and commander was going to be a trilogy tooShip movies are just cursed
>>215034929The 3rd season sounds good, on paper but idk if it will ever come out
>>215034917>supposed to be a trilogyFucking how?>movie flopped so hardFucking how?Maybe it's hindsight bias, I watched this for the first time two months ago. It felt like a 2000's movie, but that's such a good thing today. It was a fun ride start to finish, but I can't imagine a sequel after it.
this movie was fun
>>215034917Every action/adventure movie is supposed to be a triology, thats the nature of hollywood. If the first one makes enough money, they make another one. If it doesnt, they dont.
>>215034994>The film was set up as a possible franchise. According to Travis Milloy, it was to have a sequel and a prequel. If it performed well, Impact Pictures could green-light one or more sequels.from Wiki
>>215034898The scene where the Asian guy completely lowered his guard in front of the mutant kid was so forced and stupid.
>>215035092A prequel makes perfect sense, especially since the titular condition never happens except as a story from the past (we're led to think the old captain had it, but his breakdown had a real reason, then we're led to think MC had it but he doesn't, and funny enough if anyone did have Pandorum, everyone would have been saved rather than condemned). There's plenty of room between the only real Pandorum event and Earth's unknown destruction.A sequel I'm leery about. They made it out and are ready to colonize. All the monsters are trapped deep in a sunken boat with no more food (pods). At some point, they "might" want to dive down to rescue the genome lady's stuff, but there's no reason not to wait a year or two first for the spacers to eat themselves to death. The only sequel I'd accept is if the new world has some kind of hidden horror to plague the new colony, Pitch Black style. But it'd still feel a bit contrived and unnecessary.
>>215034917Three sci-fi movies with Antje? I'd watch them
>>215035092>it was to have a sequel and a prequel.prequels are usually terrible an anyone who sets up a franchise to include them should be killed.
I want to see a sequel to The Sphere, which can also function as a prequel since the ship went back in time. Show us the story of the ships adventures.
I forgot I even watched this shit
>>215035326This was from 2009. The ship has sailed long time ago
>>215035396>a sequel to The SphereIt's got the whole franchise
>>215034898magnetic rose (anime)
>>215036350Hence the conditional "I'd"
>>215036854Not him, "would" is future tense. You mean "would have," or the poorly contracted I'd've, which is past tense.
>>215034929>Ship movies are just cursed
>>215035174Wasn't he hispanic?
>>215036542Very based recommendation. Kino in every sense of the word.
