Why didnt he just take a mug or a cauldron of mordor lava with him after Isildur didn't destroy the ring so the next time the ring turns up they dont have to make the mordor trip again
>>
Eru didn't write it that way.
>>
>>215035275
because fuck u thats why
>>
>>215035275
because it would have cooled down after 3000 years
>>
the lava is so hot that it would have burned the eagles feet if they had to carry it back that far
>inb4 use a long chain to shackle it to their feet
would have been too unstable, they would have spilled it

>take a mug or a cauldron of mordor lava
No such mug exists
>>
The power to destroy the ring is lava + mountain, you need both

Alternatively they could've thrown the ring at a cactus or left it on the ground to despawn.

Store it in a heated place, ask the dwarves to build a super forge
>>
>>215035348
Irl they put the lava in normal metal buckets, LoTR has several magical other ores that are surely stronger than metal

Great. Now it's no longer Mount Doom's lava. Just cauldron's lava (useless).
>>
>>215035275
why didnt he place pipes from mt doom to his home to get tap water morder lava?

Yeah, why did he not do this, OP????
>>

What really doesn't make sense is that after the victory, they didn't occupy Mount Doom and turn it into some kind of colony or fortress. You have control of such a strategically important location and you just leave it there for the enemy to recapture? An idiot like can understands this and yet some 3000-year-old demigod doesn't.

*an idiot like me can understand this

Occupy what? An active volcano?
