It would need to last 20 seasons at a minimum. Every nigga saying 'GoT ran out of steam in the end' has no clue. Half of two books flat out didn't get adapted. Entire plot points got cut while others got invented by D&D.

Those are two books are meandering dogshit. The fact that after 2000 something pages the main plot points are exactly the same as they were in ASOS tells you enough. Thats 25 years the story has been stagnant, AFWD bloated the story to such a degree the author abandoned it.
