the show is wasted potential but the alien pets is the most unforgivable aspect.

I didn't hate it, but it's definitely got some flaws. Felt like it could easily have been an original story without the Alien tie-in as well.Also one thing I haven't noticed anyone else mention is that Romulus expanded on the xeno lifecycle by having it cocoon between chestburster and adult xeno, explaining it's rapid growth. Alien: Earth seems to have missed that memo and portrays the chestburster slowly growing into an adult xeno over a period of days with no coccoon.
