Nah he was actually very lucky. iirc he was laid off in the spring and was able to get another finance job at an investment bank within a couple weeks in Houston. Enron declared bankruptcy in December 01. He was also fresh out of college and didn't have anything invested in the company. A lot of old morons had their entire 401K in Enron stock and that went to zero overnight.
