After many years I just rewatched Alien / Prometheus / Covenant this week in 4k hdr. Fuckin kino. No one does it like him. And now i remind myself all we have is Romulus and Alien Earth sequels to look forward to (mediocre and made for zoomers)

I’ve watched A Good Year over 400 times. Every time I travel abroad I have to find it and buy it again on DVD/bluray/VHS, whatever format and language I still don’t own.
It's incredible how much Rutger Hauer saved Blade Runner from not succumbing to Ridley's retardation. He fucking gave him the most heavy handed Christian symbolism possible, puncturing his palms with nails and ending it all with a lengthy white dove sequence. If he did not take is so playfully, capping it off with masterful improvisation, the movie would fall apart. Not to mention that this boneheaded retard actually did fuck up the original release by having a fucking narrator over each and every poignant scene INCLUDING the immediate section after Hauer's character's death.

Not only is it a stupid caricature to portray the husband in that way but the movie is suppose to be a critic of chivalry yet it is chivalry that is making the husband do the right thing? They take a heroic story about a husband and wife putting both their lives on the line to combat a corrupt lord who let a captain get away with rape and they take the perspective of a social engineer who strips the humanity away from all the men in the story to make apoint about how society back then wasnt progressive enough.totalfuckingtrashfuck you ridley
