ITT : Times when /tv/ was fucking wrong.

I'll start with picrel. Directing was a bit sloppy but it had so much soul. Shouldn't have listened to you retards and instead go see it in theaters.

Dumb dickhead put out half a movie that he knew was going to bomb, cocksucker. I liked the movie though.
>>
remember when this was gonna be a trilogy, tried to force a big western saga in the modern day unfortunately just wasn't gonna happen, Costner wasnt the director the film needed and it all felt like setup. I would've watched the second
>>
It would have made a better miniseries.

There was some faggot on here saying that Brat sucked

Costner was going through a divorce and I heard his wife was gonna get 100% of his next movie

Well I liked the idea of the double release within two months but 1. it never happened and 2. it wouldn't have worked commercially.

The second one is finished and was screened at festivals last year and the third one was in production as of a few months ago. So why not release the second one?
I'm guessing they're waiting for a right moment that'll never happen or maybe try to repackage the second and third films into a single one which I think is a bad idea.

This. Chapter 2 already made it's big screen debut at a festival. Meaning it's already finished and ready to broadcast once the man gives the word. Principal photography has already started on Chapter 3 around last spring I think? Obviously the divorce threw a wench in the gears but I fully believe Costner will finish Horizon one way or another.

Yeah, and Intermezzo was screened at Cannes, we're definitely getting it somehow.
>release the Kechiche cut
Meanwhile Canto Due was screened at a festival and will be released in theaters (already has a date while Intermezzo will be lost media forever).
>>
Costner was, is and will forever be shit.

Costner needs to bite the bullet and accept Netflix financing. It did good streaming numbers, and Netflix expressed interest in financing Chapter 3. I understand Costner wanting this for the big screen, but it is just unattainable at this point. He isn't going to get other financiers.
