Is there any modern media that captures the essence of the 2000's? Post-9/11 angst, wild west internet, emos, etc. We've seen so many nostalgic pieces on the 70's, 80's and 90's crafted with love and passion by directors and writers but none about the 2000's. Why is that?
>>
nothing happened in the early 2000s

No and it should stay that way. The modern world is too pozzed to portray it honestly. Fag marriage wasn't even legal in the most liberal states until the early 2010s. They'd probably just try to wokewash the hell out of it.

I never got prime 15-16 year old emo or scene girl pussy and frankly I'm owed it.

wokeism is kill now but that time period still sucked and should be forgotten
>>
>>215049834
It really was a different time.
I graduated in 2007, we had one gay kid in our school and he was bullied so severely by all of us he killed himself before graduation and everyone thought it was a good thing.
>>
Watch the real world Chicago or San Diego. Those two seasons are peak early 2000s culture and fashion.

no it fucking isn't, shut the fuck up retarded nigger

superbad is great for giving a feel for the time period but doesn't really touch on any of those things you're mentioning specifically OP
for that stuff I'm really not sure

>>
>>215049988
woke faggots made 20 steps "forward" and now that we "KILLED WOKE" we made 5 steps back. We're still 15 steps woker and the consequence of taking back the 5 steps we did is probably going to be AI detecting anti-Israel speech for prosecution, BUT WE'RE WINNING GUYS! WE OWNED THE TRANNIES!

kikes are right, you're all cattle and deserve to be enlaved
>>
>>215050001
this. I'm a boomer, 00s weren't that different from current times, mostly the same minus mobile phones
the differences between let's say 70s and 90s was much more noticeable. in fashion, tech, culture etc
>>
>>215049873
I graduated in 2014 and nobody in my school was gay. We had like 16 “bisexual girls” though

There was Y2K but that movie sucked.

200s media is still modern media. Maybe in 2050 you could argue it isn't anymore.

We didn't have any gay kids. Just girls that kissed at parties to get guys attention. Remember when that was a thing?

Look at how innocent and sincere she is. No pretense, just a cute idiot making a dumb video. Back then I would have bitched about how annoying she was but compared to the dead-eyed and utterly self-absorbed tiktok girls of today... man we didn't know how lucky we were.

The funny things is that they were relentlesly mocked and ridiculed at the time.

Many such cases! Cursed destiny of Man! Sad!

Girls were so much better in every way before social media. Can't we ban it? Y'know, for the children?

everyone who wasn't emo fucking hated emo kids and shit on them all the time, this is true

counterpoint: you're 15 and you're getting blowjobs from this and eventually get to fuck her tight shaved innie pussy entirely because you're a skinny 5'10 kid who dyed his mop of hair black
>>
>>215055102
you would devote your life to dressing and acting like an emo faggot just to get 15 minutes of pleasure? pornbrained retard
>>
>>215055125
>DEVOTE YOUR LIIIIFE!
holy fucking melodramatic are you sure you're not an emo faggot right now? they wore black skinny jeans and converse and black band tees.
I WOULD absolutely go back in time and do that. This is why 80% of zoomers are incels. The ones who aren't are getting perms and low taper fades to look like niggers instead of being "emo faggots", I wonder which is worse.

Kind of but not really. I was born in 1980 so a grown ass adult in 2000.

The advent of cellphones in social circles and the rise of allways connected internet changed the world a lot faster than the fuckin jet age.

they were especially insufferable. emo kids from my experience were very low IQ too. a lot of them were gay or lesbians and finding a hot skinny emo girl was like seeing a shooting star 99% of them were fat. people get tricked by these myspace pics of early ecelebs and think that was every emo girl
>>
>>215055158
but we already had shittier versions of that on the 00s
people already were sending text messages on their cellphones, chatting with their friends online on icq or msn or whatever, going online pretty often, posting retarded shit on myspace or fb, playing games online, online dating
most of the shit you can see now was already a thing in the 00s
>>
>>215055277
I was around back then, most of the emo girls I saw were skinny or just normal sized and immensely fuckable but I had no game and was actually depressed and isolated and not fake depressed, and fucking hated pop punk. I never got that emo pussy.

Maybe I'm too young, but the emos I remember were more of an alternative culture. They were not loners and not outcasts. They had emo friends. They dressed up for the girls who liked the music and thusly the fashion. Quite literally NO ONE was questioning their sex. Sure maybe some were gay of course. I liken the emos to the performative males of the current era.
>>
>>215050122
That was one of my redpills about women when i was in high school. I tried getting with one chick who was a "lesbian" but she ended up with some ugly dude. Guess i wasnt good enough. Fucking lying ass whore.
