It's weird because he didn't even suffer a nasty KO or TKO loss which is almost always the cause of a fighter's career going to shit. He just started losing for seemingly no reason. Guy went from 12-0 to 15-11 in 9 years.

Kinda surprised Mark has had a documentary and a movie made about his life. There are a couple of other MMA fighters who I think had a more interesting life, like Rousimar Palhares, Evan Tanner, Paulo Filho, Roger Huerta, or even Vitor

Whole point of the movie was that the guy went from having total confidence in himself to being an emotional wreck and it cost him everything. Last fight of the movie he couldn't move because he was having flashbacks to all the shit that he'd done wrong in life.
