Definitely, it hits a vibe that the other films of his don't quite do. I was downright disturbed at how much Benjamin looked like a low-t version of myself and had similar mannerisms and speech patterns (even down to criticizing Chevalier for making Bronco a tranny lmao).

For sure. The second half lagged a bit and was more all over the place compared to the first.

It goes for gross-out more than it should, but I liked it overall. The scene with the snake spraying shit all over the Guardian Angel as well as the scene at the end where Benjamin dips the darts in piles of literal steaming dogshit had me rolling.
I get why it flopped though, movies like this were dime a dozen back then and it was just sort of background noise.
