BrBa has less shit going on until the last 6 episodes of the show or so. Also it went mid in S3 and had a poor ending. BCS did also went downhill in S4 but had a more deserved finale, nothing incredible either but at least wasn't as badly written as Felina. My favourite episodes from each show are Fly and Winner respectively.

It doesn't help either that it's the only interesting relationship Walt has in the show, while Jimmy has basically constant feedback with most of the characters (aside from Gus I guess). Jimmy is chasing new cases and entering into new firms every season, while also changing dynamics on his personal relationships. Walt doesn't get fired until half of the show, and that was only an excuse for more lab scenes, since him didn't care about that. His relationships are always the same through out the series until the second half of the final season. BCS has slower pacing, but that's precisely due to the fact that there's a lot more going on in the script.
