Barely anything was released that year, they went with what they had. So it's less "shit movie undeservingly won" and more "literally nothing came out, we need any movies that did"

Wasn't very good. It was ok, but didn't explore vanlife accurately at all. Except the shitting scene. Man shitting in the van each morning feels kind of awful, but the rest of the lifestyle is exciting and adventurous. Should have focused on someone young since vanlife changes young people and puts them on a new path. There was no new horizons for some 60yo lesbo making ends meet at Amazon delivery centers.
