The CGI ones are good though, but they follow the lore of the books over the movie.
ST has been my fav movie since it released, just an all round great movie with only denise richards terrible acting letting it down.
It was aimed at people my age when it released though.

Verhoeven had a little too much faith in humanity when he made this. His idea was "would you still be able to reject fascism if it was this sex?" failed to account for the many people willing to embrace it even if it wasn't.
