Before the inevitable happens one thing I never see discussed is that this has the best "breaking down under stress" scene in film and television. He doesn't comically start rocking back and forth or crying, he just shuts down. Even though the scene is Winters memoirs slandering him it even paints it as sympathetic since he's got like 20 people yelling at him and 30 new developments

Sorry, gotta do it. Easy Company did not liberate any concentration camps, complete jewish fiction that ruins the show.

I feel like if you’re extremely white supremacist to the point you don’t consider the nipponese honorabu aryanu you might be ok watching the pacific but not band of brothers
>>
most of this website was not alive when this was released

They showed a lot of guys like that, like the guy who was stuck in his hole in the beginning when the German tanks were on that hill. He was pulled out of it by a strong commander. The trouble was that guy was a CO, and had nobody to give him a swift kick in the rear
>>
>>215063801
Yeah in the show at least. I never got it clear whether Winters simply didn't like him or was unaware but in reality he had gotten hit in the shoulder IIRC during the attack and was dealing with it and unable to command the attack at the same time, so he wrote it as freezing up
>>
>>215063726
When they got mad at the townspeople for “pretending” to not know the camp was there was extremely cringe. I’d be offended if I was a German national
>>
>>215063525
I just rewatched it last week. I know the common complaint here is the prison episode but it's only the back half of it. Before that it's all Nixon being a demoted alcoholic kino. Personally if I'm gonna give about accuracy fuck that episode why'd they have to claim Blith died from his wounds? What a load of horseshit.

Still a 9/10 series. Will watch again while eating army noodles with ketchup.

I had a seizure in the middle of writing that lemme try again. I'm more upset about Blithe then the camp stuff. There that's better.

Band of GOYS

The pacific is better in every perceivable way.

Generation Kill TOPS ALL.

If Germans didn’t have a 80% surrender rate none of that would be a problem

18 million Germans mobilized, only 4 million KIA, no post-war resistance of any kind
>>
>>215063735
The Pacific doesn’t go out of its way to paint the japs as some super evil creatures that must be exterminated like the band of brothers does with the germans.

It shows that the japs were just radicalised and that the burgers fighting them also became radicalised as the war went on until you have to moment where sledgehammer finds the baby in the house he mortared and he changes back to his old self again.

The band of kikes lacks this type of depth and the made up holohaux episode sinks the entire show.

>>215064095
It's pretty inexcusable they haven't corrected the bit about Blithe really, maybe they would have done it if he was jewish
>>
>>215064170
67% of jewish men aged 15-89 have had homosexual relations says the university of tel aviv.
>>
>>215063668
Just episodes 5- 10, and just the parts with Eugene Sledge. Otherwise the series is a slog compared to BoB.

4/18 is a catastrophic ratio anon

It's old, and everyone knows it's just good anyway, like Rome.

Nigga media literacy, get some. The japs in the pacific are literally insect tier psychopaths. The Germans are shown to be regular dudes.

Where the fuck do you people get these ideas? The first episode has Speirs murdering German POW's, one of whom is an American. The concentration camp episode doesn't even feature any guards. Winters shoots a kid and it haunts him. The German checkpoint guard, the brain surgeon who works with men holding him at gunpoint, the German general and his men who talks about how they've fought honorably, and the German general who gets to keep his pistol. Is it all sunshine wnd roses? Nah, Spielberg's too jewish to go without a holocaust bad episode. But not a single episode has any Germans committing warcrimes, even the fucking French civilians execute more people than they do. Hell, they actually show the Free French murdering surrendered Germans. You're conflating Saving Private Ryan with BoB

They should have though. Japanese soldiers during WWII were vile. Spielberg was pulling punches to make the Japanese seem more sympathetic than they actually were (because Japanese aren't white, so it's ok). Take the scenes where Marines are bullying Japanese POWs, for example.
>>
>>215064449
Following that scene is the nips wiring civilians with explosives and sending them into machine gun fire thoughbeit
>>
>>215064449
The Japs were basically a medieval society preternaturally industrialised because of external influence. Imagine if 14th century Europe were given 19th century tech, it would have been grim.
>>

More like awesome
>>
The Pacific had too much gore for my taste

Because /tv/ doesn't talk about anything. but it's not true /tv/ doesn't post about this show, the episode with Ross from Friends gets memed fairly often
