George is an idea guy, I've read Campbell, Jung, etc I've seen all the pulp serial stuff that inspired him, I know all the easter mysticism he's going for. George is an idea guy who doesn't know how to write and direct and bring out those ideas. To be fair I probably couldn't either. Star War is a fun setting you can tell any kind of story in, and it's at its best when people focus on ONE things. Pulpy adventure, revolution, mysticism. You just need to hire writers and producers who are good at producing that kind of content, it's why Andor is good. I'd kill for a Star Wars series about a young Jedi similar to Earthsea, because someone like LeGuin was good at understanding and writing mysticism. I'd kill for an Imperial spy thriller too, by shit I don't know. You know what I'm getting at.
