They made him FARRRR too much a drunkard bro in the show. Yes he drank and fucked but he was still ducking smart outside the battlefield. Purefoy is amazing in the role but the role is limited by this period in HBO before blowing their load on shit like GoT. Same with Agrippa, they take an objective military genius who wins Octavian the goddamned throne through superior generalship and turn him into sister fucker beta boy. Still an amazing show don’t get me wrong.
