>I'll be paying in cash for my black coffee
>why yes I think Dune and Straight story are the best Lynch kinos how could you tell?
>>
i thought the music in it was kino. also made you feel like a schizo at times because you'd see camera people trying to hide from the shots
>>
>>215072227
Have you seen good time? They are the kings of using horrorish music in non horror movies.
>>
>>215072371
yeah i think they use the same dude on that. Oneohtrix Point Never
>>
>>215070310
I dropped it after the first few episodes, only funny part was Safdie's character presenting that burn victim dating show
>>
I do not like the works of David Lynch for the very same reason i do not like the works of Wes Anderson. That is to say, their work insists upon itself

Kind of sucks to hear Benny's Smashing Machine is a dud. I guess Nathan had a big influence on The Curse.
>>
>>215070310
It's great. It really gets under your skin. The cinematography is also some of the best I've ever seen. I was a bit disappointed that the DP of this didn't shoot The Smashing Machine in this same way and opted for more handheld instead.

Nah there's definitely some of the messy humanness of The Curse in The Smashing Machine. It was probably pretty equal and mutual.

makes me want a cherry tomato
