The story frequently touched on the value of king's blood (figuratively and literally), sacrifice, and a fire god brought Jon back to life for a purpose. Westeros should've lost their rightful king to stave off the Long Night and then had to deal with their own problems deposing a tyrant without the Lord of Light's indirect help by having Jon as an intermediary. Like, Beric and Melisandre both died as soon as the Lord was done with them. It seems odd that Jon had a free pass when he was living on borrowed time and nothing after the Night King died was the concern of the Lord.
