What is the best French film you have ever seen? For me, it would have to be The Wages of Fear (1953), Breathless (1960) or last year's The Count Of Monte Cristo adaptation.

>>215071541Assuming this isn't a thinly veiled Forward Young Man thread, I really enjoyed watching Pickpocket and Au hasard Balthazar. Bresson is a much more subdued and disciplined director than Godard and it's clear he never respected actors as much as he did directors.
