It took from 94 to 96 for George to write the first book. Considering books in series tend to get longer, at this rate we probably won't get Winds of Winter until 2001 or 2002. Do you think it will be worth the wait?

Literally had nothing to with Rome being cancelled you moron. BBC who was co funding the series was going to drop out after the second season and it was too insanely expensive for HBO at the time to pay for it all on their own
