What are some non-horror films that scared you?Fail Safe was existentially horrifying to me.
>>215073284Shitty version of Dr Strangelove.
>>215073284The climax was really tense in this one but it feels way more old Hollywood morality tale in style. Dr Strangelove has that same tense ending but it's a more modern feeling, and the tension is even more intense because it's overlaid with comedy
>>215073659nigger
>>215073284The Day After. The whole attack segment where a dude is wandering in a field next to horses, the calm before the storm, is especially eerie.
>>215073284Yes, Walter Matthau making out with a woman was existentially horrifying.

I don't want to die
Great film OP I love Sidney Lumet great director. The Hill (1965) is another one of his greats and you might find the same feeling of dread/horror at certain points
>>215074438>more modern feelingNot a good thing. >he tension is even more intense because it's overlaid with comedyThis doesn't even make any sense. Just flat out wrong.
OP WATCH THIS PLEASE.Full --- https://youtu.be/M5D36Haa8L0
>>215075949It's true though. The scene where Mandrake is trying to get the soldier to get some change from the coke machine is more intense than anything in Fail Safe
>>215075275You stinking filthy nigger
>>215076819I was going to recommend this too, great movie
