It's a kid's show at the end of the day. Occasionally the writers will have a good idea or two but it will never escape the fact that it's entertainment for the easily impressed.

I don't think it was really good at any point.It has a handful of really good episodes (Midnight, Blink), but other than that it's either shit or boring filler.Classic Doctor Who is much worse, it aged like shit and every episode except few (like the Daleks origins episode) is the same story but with a different monster of the week.

It had good episodes but the quality was always all over the place.The child with the gas mask freaked me out when I first saw it as a teen.
