I just found out one of my accounts got deleted for inactivity and can't find an invite thread on any of the forums I still have access to.
>>215075524>Have you ever bought an invite to a priavte tracker?I guess technically. I had to offer some rare regional music to get full membership in a private music tracker like 15 years ago. I've never paid money for an invite though.
>>215075524no you get blacklisted by good sites for buying/selling. just wait 12 years for your memberships like everyone else
>>215075524>I just found out one of my accounts got deleted for inactivityso you don't need iti never pay for anything, even private trackers. they're 100% free.
All stuff I need is on public trackers
No i never pay to pirate. I recently got into private trackers after so damn long and was dissapointed with their interfaces. There are much better on most public sites.
>>215076571>I recently got into private trackers after so damn long and was dissapointed with their interfaces.then you're using shitty private trackers like IPT and TLthe good ones are beautiful
>>215075524Private Trackers are just a trap that makes pirating worse over all in the long term. The main motivation for them is ego, but I am not bothered by retards who refuse to seed.
>>215075524no, I'd rather download movies I found on yandex with forced russian subtitles than bothering with that stuff
>>215076602lol that's exactly the 2 I'm talking about.
>>215075524No, but I was im a couple of private trackers and let me tell you something: all they have can be also found in public trackers.
>>215076628>Private Trackers are just a trap that makes pirating worse over all in the long term.been using private trackers for 10 yearsI would never use anything else
>>215076765>I was im a couple of private trackers and let me tell you something: all they have can be also found in public trackers.then you are using shitty private trackers like IPT and TL
>>215075524If you're going to pay2pirate (lmao) at least pay for newsgroups access.
I'm here from /ptg/ on /g/. Someone sent the signal out for us to come laugh at you for even thinking of doing this.
>>215076831Public trackers + direct download websites like hdencode and you got everything, new releases and old stuff. In fact, I found a lot of niche stuff on free sites that private trackers dont even have.No need for ratio maintaining bullshit.
>buying inviteseasiest way to get a global ban from all private trackers with the exception of some of the shitty pay2leech/pay2enter ones like TL
>>215076873>Public trackers + direct download websites like hdencode and you got everythingWrong. They only get the popular stuff.
>>215076865No one cares you fucking faggot you could fall off a cliff and literally the only impact you have in the world would be the sound of your body smacking the rocks>>215075524If your account got deleted for inactivity that means you weren't using it... Why do you care that they pruned you?
>>215076888Ok. Keep seeding.
>>215076628Embarrassing cope.
>>215076890>No one cares you fucking faggot you could fall off a cliff and literally the only impact you have in the world would be the sound of your body smacking the rocksHahaha you got this mad over a simple reply to a 4chan thread. KWAB.
>>215076765Part of the reason you use private trackers is rare or highly specific uploads. The other part is seeder availability. Sure you can find most things on public trackers but ending up stuck at 52% and having to wait 6 days for the estonian who has the full file to start seeding again sucks.
>>215076898>Ok. Keep seeding.I will thanks. >>215076881buying invites is the dumbest thing you can do.
>>215076908I'm not mad you're just a fucking twat>I came from le place to say le thingLike a fucking Reddit sheep
>>215076937Haha you're so obviously angry. I offended your delicate sensibilities by insulting the good name of invite sellers and traders. After all it's their prerogative if they want to get ghosted after sending some bitcoin to a smelly pajeet. lolololol
>215076959You're trying too hard bud.
>>215076873>No need for ratio maintaining bullshit.I was confused way back in 2007 and I'm still confused right now in 2025 how ratio maintaining is a problem for anyone. Unless you have a highly asymmetrical connection with severely restricted upload.
>>215076987Awww did you get your feelings hurt? Hahjahahahahahahahdewionfsadio. I'll call him reddit! Also a twat! That will show him that I'm the one who's dominant around here! I'll disregard his lack of a serious response by removing one of the meme arrows so he doesn't get a (You). How delightfully disrespectful!
>>215076765>all they have can be also found in public trackersIf you're watching movies with The Rock, then sure.
>>215077006It's not the seeding part, it's all the bullshit rules like "you must download something every X days or you will be banned" and such. I dont have a problem with seeding itself, I just dont like to be obligated be active.
>>215077006People are so dumb they feel cucked when they upload more than they download, so they don't want to seed in fear of being seen as being taken advantage of.
>>215077046Yeah yeah, you watch stuff so niche and dark you only find it in the darkest private trackers. Sure buddy.
I just can't be assed to do an interview to get into a private music torrent tracker then download and seed shit (which I don't even need) there to build up my ratio and good boy points to be finally able to request an invite to PTP or HDBits or w/e. I have a few easy to access private trackers and I find everything I need there.
>>215077072I mean yeah, this happens quite often.>>215077051This I can somewhat agree with. There's also one tracker where the hit-n-run rule isn't just "you must seed for N days total" (sure, understandable, just like everywhere), but ALSO on top of that "your seeding during this initial period shouldn't be interrupted for more than 72 consecutive hours, otherwise you'll receive a permanent HnR mark on your account". Which is a HUGE wtf.
I don't even care to argue about the reasons why private trackers are better than public ones anymore. What difference does it make to me if some retard wants to download all his movies from yts.mx? Not my problem.
>>215077191>What difference does it make to me if some retard wants to download all his movies from yts.mxThere is a difference, but it's more of a long-term issue and not some immediate issue that instantly affects you. It's the same as Instagram serving some 60 KB images that are 1080px wide instead of HQ photos. Same as Soundcloud defaulting to 64 kbps Opus. Same as Spotify having a fucking dynamic range compressor enabled by default (on free tier, anyway). And so on.This progressively accustoms people, especially the normie not-tech-savvy people, but also likely "most of" the younger generations, that this quality is OK. They also end up never really having the opportunity to see/hear the difference; when they've consumed enough poorly encoded / low quality stuff, they will either not see the difference at all (that is, their brain won't catch the difference even if their eyesight is technically fine), or they will actually perceive low quality stuff as normal / expected / familiar and will perceive higher quality / better encoded stuff as weird-looking and off-putting.Why do you think Cameron released the "4K remasters" of his stuff looking the way they look? He's not an idiot at all and never has been one, quite the opposite. These "remasters" made these kinda-"dated" movies look more modern, more like how a lot of movie imagery already looks in most contexts these days. It's a deliberate attempt to prolong the life of these classics and make them consumable for the newer viewers.Germany is one of the last countries releasing blurays of smaller films. Sounds good, right? Yay for HQ copies! But lately the local company there that does bluray masters for the distributors started coating the video in a VERY noticeable "AI beautifying" filter. You probably know the kind of filter I mean,it's a very characteristic look. I think it looks fucking awful. But casual viewers and younger viewers literally don't know any better. They think it's how it should be.
>>215077046If I can't find what I want on a public trackers then I do that adult thing where you spend money on something you want. Honestly if you can't find something in public then you should be giving your money to the creator because they are probably broke as shit
>>215077072>Yeah yeah, you watch stuff so niche and dark you only find it in the darkest private trackers. Sure buddy.Yes, but in the top ones. Yes.
>>215077277It's a race to the bottom. Streaming technically could be as good as a bluray, I mean they use the same fucking codecs. But the companies want to shave pennies off their CDN bills so they compress the shit out of everything. When pirating you get the option to have something better for free. But few care.
