>"bro, Home is the scariest X-Files episode bro, it's the peak bro, it's so scary it was banned bro"
>it's literally a nothingburger
>takes place at morning, they enter the house with Scooby-Doo tactics and the boys are killed off-screen
>there's no atmosphere or jumpscares, it's literally just "bro this is real bro this is happening in inbred redneck southern states bro"
I've been binging the series this Spooktober, and I'm at S4. It's nice and comfy, but the Mytharc episodes are dreadfully dull and full of
>you thought it was X? IT'S ACTUALLY Y!
>no wait it's actually X... OR IS IT?!
The MotW ones are very comfy, but hardly ever great. I can't remember an episode where I went
>damn, that was awesome
It's just comfy for the nostalgia. Which is fine and all but considering it falls off a cliff in the later seasons, and the revival seasons are trash from the get-go, is there even a point in continuing? I kept hearing about this episode for ages and ages and it was just meh. So considering that the overarching story is a waste of time, and even the MotW episodes start deteriorating, should I continue? Should I stop at the first movie?

Is that the Brady Bunch one, that was creepy

It's the one with the inbred boys who breed their own mother. It sounds creepy I guess, but it's not that hardcore in execution.
