I thought it was great for a week or so but I'm sure I'd get sick of the noise if I stayed much longer. Because of the difference in purchasing power vacationing there is like getting the millionaire experience in the US. Their castle and museums are pretty neat too.

I looked at google street maps of major Mexican cities. There's no vegetation anywhere. No trees, no shrubs, no flowers. I know it's desert, but I didn't even see palms or cacti.
