And I, for one, welcome our new AI overlords.
A movie that's at least watchable would mog 90% of movies in the past five years.
Being able to take a movie, feed it into the machine and have them regenerate ot with an entirely different actor in a certain role, or added nude scene, or just fixing a shit ending or removing black ghosts...will be the golden age of cinema.
>>215077135I won't be watching it.
what did people think of photography, when it was new?
>>215077135>at least watchableTroons don't like that guy because of what?!
Imagine:Attack on Titan natsoc real endingLOTR eagles fly the ring into Mount Doom miniseriesFix all mystery meat anachronisms in historical film
>>215077539>LOTR eagles fly the ring into Mount Doom miniseries
>>215077500That this device can steal their soul.Aside from that, I, an anon in 2025, unironically think that it's not a very good thing that moments can be easily captured, and it's better and healthier for the human mind when moments are mostly kept in memory (and eventually distorted over time, sure, but still: not able to be replicated for re-experiencing)
>>215077135Good old Elon. His self-driving cars are at least rideable and rockets to the Mars are at least startable (most of the time).
>>215077500>threat to traditional art like paintings>soulless>no artistic merit>concerns of ease of reproduction>"every retard can do it">less detail and more jank than paintings
>>215077135Elon can't even make cars that don't explode
>>215077570>it's not a very good thing that moments can be easily captured, and it's better and healthier for the human mind when moments are mostly kept in memoryYes
>>215077135Actors be like:>Ah well...it was fun while it lastet. Now off to getting a real jobExpect Mcdonalds and Wallmart beeing over staffed by useless dumb former actorsActresses will all be doing OF and escorting and street walking. None of these bitches can comprehend actually working for a living so whoring around is the next logic step for them
They can't even talk like a human, or remain consistent for more than a few seconds, or move like a person. How the fuck are they supposed to make a movie like that?
>>215077135its elon so it will just be a michael bay movie with elon level dialog. If AI is making movies why would we need the studios at at? LLM can already tell stories based on loose user inputs and people arent filtering those through professional authors.
>>215077778>LLM can already tell stories based on loose user inputs and people arent filtering those through professional authors. And have you actually read those LLM-generated stories? They are horrific.
>>215077791true, but at the end of next year they might be readable. AI is soulless slop, but I dont see the future in mass production hollywood style when people can create their own personalized content. Hollywood might have to distinguish itself as not being AI in 10 years. >Now with practical effects!
>>215077539a proper game of thrones adaptation with characters looking cool instead of inbred or black.oh and a good story all the way to the end would be nice too
>>215077460Was just thinking the same.
>>215077606They were right.
Grok imagine? Its piece of shitPictures are stable diffusion, videos are wan 2.1 with speed up loras. Grok chat generates Flux pictures
Elon doesnt develop new models, he just packages open source models. He cant give any kind of promises because he has 0 control over it
>>215077821>AI is soulless slop, but I dont see the future in mass production hollywood style when people can create their own personalized content.Anyone who ever created something knows its impossible to enjoy your own work like you enjoy others' unless you have alzheimers like Ridley Scott. Unless you can literally say "give me exactly what I want" with no further input and that actually works, I dont think personalized/bespoke/self-made content will have the same appeal people think it will. There's a reason why in all of history there has never been a time when people ditched mass entertainment to write their own self-tailored stories, even though there's no barrier to entry and it's very easy to do if you aren't worried about appealing to others or getting published.
>>215078219>>215078252One thing in his defence, grok is fucking great, I describe literotica stories I would want to read and he finds what I want, I have a huge backlog now
>>215078348How do you prompt it? I'm curious. Does it really get you some hidden gems you wouldn't find by looking at relevant tags?
it's over for Bollywood
>>215078541Some specific scenarios are not that easy to find.
I hope it gets to the point where we can generate and modify our own movies at home. I will get it to watch a playthrough of Alien Isolation and read the novel adaption so that I can see a decent fucking Alien film again. I would also modify Alien Earth so that all of the hybrids are actual retarded people that look and sound all retarded and make the xenomorphs a man in a chicken costume who unenthusiastically says "cluck cluck". There will be some nuclear grade kvetching if any of this is possible though.
>>215077135>Musk making an AI movieWere about to see the worlds biggest Mary Sue.
Can I use it to make an 80s retro futuristic buddy cop detective movie with Biden and Trump?
>>215077135Cutting out producers and production studios, with all their censorship, propaganda, mass-appeal and 'creative notes', is going to breathe life back into cinema/television. I'm excited!
>>215077135Musk says a lot of things. I am still waiting for my servant robots.
>>215077606All true
>>215077135when were we getting mars colonies again?
>>215077606Absolutely all of this is correct, and stands true today, regarding photography.
>>215079198The same time the government gives back the ante-deluvian castles.
>>215078984Lol, thisFucking retards over here seriously still falling for his "just 2 more years" promises when he has failed to deliver over and over? About as smart as the morons who fell for Altman's promises of achieving AGI if you just give him more billions of dollars
>>215077135Sure, retard, and we'll be in Mars in 2023.
>>215077478Yeah, it will also never happen with the generative garbage we have today, Sar.
>>215078984this. i'm honestly just not that interested in AI until it can be put inside a realistic devoted sexmaid robot.
>>215077539>James Cameron-directed book-faithful Jurassic Park miniseries.>Berserk anime with the visual style of a 90s OVA>A Ghostbusters 3 set in the mid-90s>An Alien 3 where Hicks, Newt, and Bishop survive>Guillermo Del Toro’s Hobbit>A Silmarillion anthology miniseries told in the style of Jim Henson’s Storyteller, as narrated by Gandalf>A 90s Star Wars sequel trilogy adaptation of the Zahn Thrawn Trilogy>Classic South Park episodes animated in the style of Dragon Ball (there’s a YouTube channel with some examples, and it works surprisingly well)>Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, starring prime Robert Englund, Kane Hodder, and Bruce Campbell>A version of Halloween Ends that sticks with the original idea of the entire trilogy taking place over the course of one nightI’m already making my plans.
AI is a meme/pyramid scheme that only pooinloos take seriously. Pay it no mind.
>>215079388>The internet is a meme/pyramid scheme that only chat room nerds take seriously. Pay it no mind.
>>215077606worst invention since the printing press put monks out of business.
>>215077500A lot of people were mad because it allowed poor people to get permanent images of themselves and their families, rather than having to hire expensive painters.
>>215079388>AI is a meme/pyramid scheme that only pooinloos take seriously. Pay it no mind.
>>215079515this is a scared jew kvetching over the goyim getting easier access to information. not comparable.
>>215077135>really good movies in 2027I doubt it, Elon.
>>215079556(this is a scared jew kvetching over the goyim getting easier access to media creation)
>>215077539Or make every film interracial.
it will just be used for porn
>>215079913HNNNNGGGG. I love chubby women.
>>215077135Its coming, at some point this decade an AI movie made by someone in their room will be a box office success and the world of cinema will be changed forever.
>>215077500If you want a fun one look up anti music recording propaganda. Its very similar to AI today.https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/musicians-wage-war-against-evil-robots-92702721/
>>215077500They thought it wasn't analogous to this
>>215080015that's hamplanet corpulent obesity status, fatty chaser anon. not chubby.
>>215078277Make ai sludge for ech other then, ez.
>>215080015>>215079913AI nerds have gotten good at that shit. Not that I can post the good stuff outside of /b/.
>>215080161is this a photo or a painting?
>>215080128And it will be in same league as modern slop, because you and your prompt cannot create
>>215077606>>215078192>>215079049It’s crazy that a woman can take more selfies on her phone in one week than than entire paintings were done in 5 years back then
>>215081028yes
>>215079913as it should
>>215077135This movie is watchable. I cry every time like a littel babby.
>>215081076What isnt is the fact a painting is almost definitely more worthwhile than a thots entire instagram gallery
Imagine being able to recreate any actress from any movie they were in and making new custom scenes with them. Like your own Holodeck program for movies. Disengage safety protocols.
>>215080015Really tired of you disgusting stupid whores going around saying self deprecating shit while pretending you're men.
>>215079576trust the plan
>>215077135The real value of AI is not going to be in telling full stories (although it will be able to do that eventually) but in bringing down budgets.
>>215077135I already hate CGI slop, this is going to be even worse.
>>215079913The moral panic over this is hilarious. First porn was le bad because muh women now woman-less porn is bad because…well it just is!
>>215082191>women are now lesser beings than pixels
