Practical effects are always 100x cooler than CGI even when they look goofy and schlocky, I’m sad outside of indie slasher cringe we’ll never return to a time where fight scenes aren’t composed of montages of physics-defying jump cuts and CGI blood. That is all. Discuss.

I think the astartes shorts prove that cgi can be awesome, the bland cgi of movies is just because they pay the least amount to fill up the most amount of time possible.
