This exchange could have actually happened in some form considering the kid's dad was a Republican legislator who voted for lax amusement park regulations in order to attract something to bumfuck Kansas.

>>
>>215081213
Decapitated because two obese women were sitting in the back and a 74 pound child was sitting in the front. The weight distribution flung the child out of the raft. Maybe if Americans weren't so obese...

You can tell whoever designed this was autistic because they put in the little platform between the loop and the spike where they would unload trains that valleyed irl

I saw a documentary on this not long ago. was pretty good

So bad it's good. I think the band that made a cameo to play at the roller coaster's grand opening said being in the movie destroyed their career
>>
>>215080377
Surprisingly this movie is probably the best theme park disaster movie even though it was never intended to be. It's unfinished but there is a 1988 cut you can watch online, the maker spent the next 20 years till he died trying to finish it to his liking and never did but you can still watch this initial cut.

And yes that's Tiny Tim as the main character (of "Tiptoe through the Tulips" fame) but he didn't make the film.

Here's a mind blower: RCT1 and 2 were programmed almost entirely in assembly. By pretty much one guy.

Nothing But Trouble has a cool Rollercoaster scene.
Side note: I used to work at Lake Compounce in Connecticut and they had like 4 summers in a row where people died. Mostly employees. One Spanish guy was weedwhacking and he poked his head through the tracks of a Rollercoaster and it popped right off. I was maintenance and I had to remove the car and bring it to the police department for forensics. To this day nobody knows why he did it.
>>
>>215082316
I was also the mechanic working on a Rollercoaster that got stuck upside down for 45 minutes. Nobody died but all the passengers had to be hospitalized because of all the blood rushing to their heads.

I actually live near there and a relative worked at the hospital his co-riders went to.
He was too light, so he rode with two women he didn't know.
His head was still attached to his body but it was only hanging by his spine, all the muscle and shit was gone.
His head swung around with such force it broke one of the women rider's jaws.

Also about 5 miles from there around the same time, a boy was tortured to death for years by his father and new wife and fed to pigs. I went to the same school as him.

Also, 15 miles south of both incidents, is one of the most wealthiest suburbs/counties in the country, that get on top rated places to live from several websites all the time, so it's not in bumfuck nowhere, that's why the slide was built there to begin with, Kansas has money to throw away because of its surpluses.

Read. Very interesting stuff for you OP
>>
>>215082483
>On June 14, 2001, the sensor on Zoomerang failed to communicate properly with the ride's automatic braking system, allowing the train of cars to continue on its own energy until it came to rest in a section of track 60 feet in the air, in the low point of the ride's cobra roll. 26 passengers were left stranded in their seats until firefighters evacuated the ride. None of the passengers were injured. Investigators determined that the incident was caused by a sensor malfunction.

So it wasn't "stuck upside down" although some people at the front and back would have been almost sideways

Yes, very bumfuck. County 8 miles from the slide.

Johnson County, Kansas, is the wealthiest county in Kansas and ranks among the wealthiest counties in the United States, with a median household income of $107,261 as of 2023. It is a predominantly suburban county located near Kansas City, characterized by a well-educated, white-collar population.

Mission Hills (about 15 miles from the slide)

Ranked as the richest city in Kansas with a median household income exceeding $250,000 and median home values near $1.6 million

Here's an even bigger mind-blower:
Everyone knows that, and you either misunderstood his comment or intentionally interpreted it incorrectly so you could feel smart for knowing some trivia. Either way, the verdict's out: The biggest autist here is you.

Kek the quote is just saying that the movie would have been good if Hitchcock directed it. Funny to look back on old movies and see the different trends of shlock over the years. The 70s loved these disaster movies and made one for every conceivable scenario. My mom always jokes that you knew it would be bad when they lined up pictures of the actors' faces on the poster

>His head swung around with such force it broke one of the women rider's jaws.

I can beat that. Before I built a new roller coaster in RCT, I used to place individual track pieces in a fenced off location as a staging area for construction. I would also not build the entire roller coaster at once. I would leave it uncompleted for an in-game month so guests could walk by it and get excited for the new coaster coming soon.
>>
>>215082371
roller coasters don't get stuck upsidedown unless it's a powered "ring of fire" coaster, which RCDB doesn't even consider real coasters.
