It really doesn't, it shows the violent revolutionaries as failures who fucked up because escalating violence against the state 9/10 times crushes you. The only successful revolutionary is the guy who never fires a gun and focuses on giving illegal immigrants shelter and escape plans when the feds show up, on top of being a respected member of his community that everyone trusts.
