Most outrageous claim you've ever seen on video?
>>
Xfiles fanboys are retarded.
The show was good as a bunch of unrelated short stories where the only thing connecting the stories is having the same two actors playing the same characters. It's like a modern Twilight Zone series.
The ''story'' about the shitty aliens is pure retardations. None of it is interesting, none of it makes any sense, it goes nowhere. Just a complete waste of everyone's time with no goal in sight, just making shit up as they go.

>Just a complete waste of everyone's time with no goal in sight, just making shit up as they go.
You just described entertainment fiction there.
Literally every tv show that isn't adapting something like a book series was writing on a season to season basis at the longest, most of the time they were only 2 or 3 episodes in, so that they can see the viewer's reactions and act accordingly. If a plotline is hated by the fans, it got dropped. This even happens in tv shows where they're adaping an existing book series, like AGOT, only there it's about emphesis and screen time. And guess what, that's a good thing, shows that don't do this fail miserably.

Am currently slogging through this and it make sense so far. At least enough to look back rich reactively and not be s upset as I was when I heard "they told us it was aliens but it was actually the government the whole time." The government conspiracy Bros and the actual aliens do seem to be pretty at odds. I forgot the whole thing about the aliens being a virus that changes people to look like aliens. But I didnt catch the smallpox vaccine Mark's back in like 1994.

It's a decent slog so far. Comfy and nostalgic.

I would watch these kinds of multi-hour video essays IF they weren't just drawn out plot synopses with 10 minutes of analysis at the end.

Cope. Normally shows write a full season with a standalone story. They tend to lose the plot when they get too many seasons and something in season 8 doesn't really follow what they wrote in season 2. Xfiles makes shit up episode to episode or mid-episode. It's LOST-tier. Just no direction whatsoever, no planning, no outline for a story, no draft.
A normal show would have some idea where it's all going. With Xfiles if you asked any of the writers they wouldn't be able to tell you what the story is.

i haven't watched the whole thing (and won't) but judging by the first 15 minutes and random parts i skipped to, it's not that at all
like yeah he tallks about the plot but he doesn't do the thing where he just goes through episoed in random order, instead he goes "the aliens are this blah blah blah see episode this and that some people think they're this but they're wrong cuz of this episode" and so on
>>
>>215082744
they have been asked, multiple times, and they all said they knew where it was going. cope

Credit to him but the video could be compressed into 30 minutes without losing anything.
