>>215084433Some of spielbergs early movies have aged poorly like close encounters and ET which seem dated. But JAWS is a classic that transcends the period which it was made. Its a simple man vs nature story. Even this type of classic story is kind of dated since if JAWS were made today it would need some person of color lecturing the audience about how sharks are an important part of the environment and have been genocided by humans.
