Now that the proverbial dust has settled, what do people think of Bourne?
>>
>>215086487
öne of the greatest action trilogies
>>
better than bond and mi
>>

one of the best if not the best action movie. Great chemistry between the lead and the german girl. Excellent pacing, iconic soundtrack. There's not much bad you can say really. You can watch it over and over and ever get bored.

>Jesus Christ, that's Jason Bourne

>Paul Oakenfold starts playing

good shit, one of my go to nostalgia movies
but ludlum's books blow it the fuck out of the water
>jungle kino never ever
>no aging bourne
FUCK

and that one youtube fag was right when he said they should have just cut the cia scenes in the first one so the viewer learns about bourne's adversary same time as him, would have elevated the movie

isnt this shit single-handedly responsible for shaky cam trend?
>>
Im annoyed that Barbara Broccoli copied it with Bond

DUDE I CANT SEE SHIT, IT'S LIKE I AM RIGHT THERE

You can't blame Liman/Greengrass for executing a concept extremely well and then everyone else poorly trying to ape it
>>

Rewatched recently. The first two are really entertaining. But all of the gun jank in Identity is distracting. I couldn't finish the third one because of the shaky cam and just losing interest in the storyline. Identity is peak comfy and early 2000s euro thriller aesthetic, but dare I say Supremacy is the better movie? Nah Identity still wins I think

no Hong Kong kino either

Gilroy's tracking shot following Renner from the ground up to that 2nd floor window just to flex on Greengrass's ass

They're very good and fun even though they ruined action movies for 15 years.

and south america
and the boat
and the brownstone house
and kgb city
and a lot more i'm not remembering right now, to be sure
still, let's be happy with what we got, more than a lot of other adaptions
>>215087668
bait
i actually like renner and loved him in heart locker, but if it was anything, it was fine, barely
>>
>>215087744
Yes it's mostly kino though suffers from seemingly being too confident that it would get a sequel.
>you expect a hand to hand fight with the LARX agent, it never happens and instead he just crashes and dies after the chase drags on for too long
>no confrontation with Norton's villain or even a phone call with him
>>215087899
Not bait, you must be new here, this is a Bourne Legacy board
>>
>>215087668
It's good despite the lead
>>
>character is called "Bourne"
>begins with him being dragged from the ocean with no memories, forced to learn about the world
