How come disney stuggles to appeal to men, besides all the properties they bought? How could they better appeal to males?
>>215087523>buy Star Wars to appeal to men>Put a bunch of women in it>"Damn why don't men like this?"It's a mystery to me, wish I could help you out.
>>215087624men don't like women? maybe they're faggots. that aside star wars is for kids. hell 99% of disney stuff is for kids. why are you faggots even arguing what of it appeals to men? retarded shit
>>215087624Im talking about shit besides SW and Marvel, like why disney has failed to capture boys interest outside of pirates
Bump
>>215087624I saw a video that suggested it's all about Kathleen Kennedy's inferiority complex that she wants to ruin Star Wars. seems like bullshit but I believe it
>>215087523Embrace violence, fear, and male comradery against evil.
The only men who still work for Disney are either corporate lizards who are so far distant from the human condition that they've lost all concept of what people like or eunuchs
>>215087523>why aren't men simping for my feminist anti-male propaganda?Truly a mystery.
Disney pigeonholed themselves into safe inoffensive family entertainment during Walt's lifetime to a point where he felt stifled by that image and Eisner and Katzenberg reinforced that with the Disney Renaissance being defined by the Broadway musical formula and the resurgence of princess stories. By the turn of the millennium, Disney's animators tried to branch out into other genres with a more masculine appeal, but those were so off-brand that normies were turned off and Katzenberg going off to make Shrek and take the piss out of a Disney he helped create made things worse. And of course now, the Princess Industrial Complex is an entrenched part of the Disney brand and creatively bankrupt Bob Iger decides to buy stuff to cover the boy blindspot and expects that audience to stay locked in while trying to get Princess girls to try the new stuff.
