Why do the preds in the new movie sound like humans? They always had monstrous voices in the previous entries but now they sound just like a regular guy speaking some fantasy language

I don't understand why this guy has a "hairline". The tendrils should grown only from the back and sides of his head. I guess the excuse is this is supposed to be young-ish yautja. But it's not just the tendrils, the head shape is different, almost human-like. Is this going to be revealed to be some stupid yautja-human hybrid done by Weiland-Yutani?
