He played an incel in Commando
>>
>>215092767
Neat! What else did he play
>>
he was T-Bird in The Crow, and it's a slightly more mature and stable version of his character in The Warriors
>>
The bottles thing wasn't scripted. The actor just saw some empties lying in the gutter and decided it would be creepy.

The warriors has such a great theme song.
>>
>>215092845
He originally wanted to have dead birds instead of bottles but they couldn't find any, also the drawn out way he calls the warriors is based on how a bully used to taunt him.

This guy and Christoph Waltz in inglorious bastards gave me a deep hatred for their asymmetrical chins, throughout their whole screen times I just wanted to jump through the screen with a hammer and chisel and fucking straighten out their chins fuck fuck fuck

Did gangs like these really exist in New York or did they take extreme creative liberty? I've read how bad it was in the '70s and '80s, but some of the gangs in this movie seem absurd.

This.

Most gangs consisted of either nigs, spics, or white boys, but not many were integrated the way you see so many of them are in the film.

>Villain's motivation is that he's just a dick
I thought for sure the movie would reveal he was working with the cops or the feds to prevent Cyrus's grand plan or something. I was pissed the first time I saw it because it turned out he did it for literally no reason.
Then after a few rewatches I thought he was kind of a realistic villain for its setting. Just a bastard gang member in NYC. Cyrus being an idealist trying to organize a bunch of criminals, only to get shot by one of the very sociopaths he was trying to save made more sense as that's how a lot of great leaders go out, by the hand of their own people. Real Malcolm X vibes.

Was he an S-tier villain or an F-tier villain?

>>
>>215095324
It's a little out there but the reality is stranger than fiction. Cyrus was a real guy called Black Benji who wanted to actually stop gangs (which actually makes more sense thematically, if Cyrus wants to make one big gang it's actually good Luther killed him) but he was killed and there was almost a huge gang war with hundreds of street gangsters. Eventually they reached a truce before that happened and actually lead to the creation of HipHop since things were kinda peaceful.
>>
>>215095797
Apparently the book implies he’s working for the Mafia.
