cause the doctor is Watson from Sherlock Holmes apparently, even though he's a large black man in this version

and sherlock holmes is also dead but speaks to him like harry from dexter sometimes

and Moriarty is an asian guy

somehow renewed for a second season

i liked lucy liu's watson even though the show was pretty bad at being sherlock holmesy. sherlock holmes is shit on its own merit before all the race swapping of course.

i remember thinking Elementary was a stupid idea at the time too but that shows existence is much less baffling than this one
