Is any part of Riverdale actually worth watching if I don't care about the sanctity of the Archie Comics characters?

>>215093878It's an insane TV show, that gets more and more stupid and convoluted each season. It's endearing because the actors know it's bad and lean into how bad it is.The second last season has time travelling and super powers, with a plot by a moustache twirling villain to make sure a meteor hits Riverdale and causes some sort of time paradox or some other bullshit. If you like schlocky teen melodrama where the adult actors only have a thin veil of pretending they are teenagers then it's a fun show.

It's just she constantly wrestlers with murderous thoughts and they indicate when she is in that 'dark side' of her by changing her hair to black and having her dress slightly gothy. It's so stupid lmao.

At some point he is trying to do a land grab on Riverdale to develop it, he tries to stop her successful maple alcohol business that she is in partnership with Cheryl, amongst other things.Veronica runs a speakeasy, a movie theatre, and a casino all separately at some point throughout the show.The superhero seasons villain is a guy who did a deal with the devil for immortality during the frontier/settler days.Bettys mum and sister join a cult, a separate one from the D&D cult.Bettys (maybe brother) works for the FBI, but turns out to be a killer on the run or something(sorry it's been a while).Jugheads little sister is wanted for being a serial killer who drops VHS tapes at peoples houses to show snuff videos.
