Truthfull I don't see there being too much bad about that room on its own merits, i've seriously considered building my own small house similar in design to this and the Mass Effect 2 captain quarters where the bed folds up into the wall and wall space is literally drawers.

Unfortunately, most Star Wars and sci-fi fans are extreme autists who don't like human interaction or are not used to human interaction. Autists are also horrible at play acting and they all want to be the supreme hero of playtime. Imagine 500 losers in an immersive experience and they all think they are the hero and main character. Same thing happens in the immersive Star Wars world at Disneyland. Too much interaction and the autists just stare uncomfortably at people and don't interact. Something like this would work in a Frozen world or any other Disney princess universe.
