>>215099148Next is one of those movies I can watch anytime no matter what mood I'm in
>>215099148>IncomingKino scene
>>215099201Not the greatest play adapted to film ever, but unfairly ignored to outright maligned.
>>215099148I can't believe I've seen this yet forgot Biel is in it.
>>215099148No respect, I tell ya.
>>215099758This is just too gross and grim for the average viewer. But very good indeed.
One of those movies with a cast could never be assembled today.
>>215099148garbage flick and garbage adaptation
everybody went in expecting another lock stock or snatch. absolute kino movie, unironically too clever for the general audience
>>215099952>3 white guys>1 nig>1 mystery meat woman>1 white womanits not that outlandish, also is that black guy the faggot hip hop dude who got diddled by the Diddler?
>>215100213also forgot my filmitw as a toss up between John Carter and this, i love both, but Edge of tomorrow, edges it out.
This movie is a masterpiece
>>215099926Keanu has a similar movie with weizs about perpetual energy generators.
>>215100164It's too clever for me, I didn't get it at all.
>>215099148>can see into the future but only by 2 minutes and situations related to himself How would you use this power?
>>215100226Sequel supposedly starts shooting next year
>>215099904After I saw twin peaks i began seeing Joan Chen in several 90s movies that I had never heard of.
>>215100326>become one of the greatest bomb disposal experts ever>become one of the greatest batters in baseball ever>become one of the greatest poker players everJust off the top of my head
>>215100164genuinely had no idea what was going in this lol
>>215099148this movie was fucking dogshit and didn't deserve the cast of actors they got
>>215100331>mfw the kikes at hollywood are making a sequel to a perfectly contained, completed story.I want a sequel to John Carter, Judge Dredd, Blade Runner, and the tv shows Gang Related and Limitless. But noooo, they make a sequel to a film that never needed one.
>>215100456If it involves time travel its never going to be completely contained. And why would an alien race give up just because the first wave got defeated, especially when they had already caused so much damage
>>215100164What was the deal with the intellectuals in the end? This movie is more confusing than Donnie darko.
>>215099876Warner archive just put this out on remastered blu-ray, bless.
>>215100493yeah but the best ideas have already been used up, and will be old-hat for the sequel. There's no way to even get close to the quality of the first film, its doomed to mediocrity.Theres other sci-fi mangas they can rewrite into hollywood scripts, they don't need to come back to it, its an almost perfect film.>>215100607that was a good film, Sunlight was also another take on the same concept, very good film.
>>215099148
>>215099148>Biel's pussy is so powerful that a guy who could barely see 2 minutes into the future can now see days in advance
Universal Soldier: Regeneration and Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning are absolute kino and effortlessly surpass the original.
>>215102183That's bold talk since I love the original since a kid. The Goldberg one left me disappointed in sequels.
>>215099148>your pussy powers me upWhy not lol
>>215102298I'm sorry, I rewatched the original after those 2 and it was just a standard Hollywood story. There's way too much comedy elements and the action is unremarkable, the one really good fight scene which I enjoyed is Van Damme destroying all those rednecks while eating pancakes, and it's played for comedy. Those two sequels are MUCH darker in nature, which you might not like if you love the original. But the action is also better. There's a long fight scene in the end of Regeneration which is shot to look like a long take, where Van Damme destroys basically a small army, and it's so good.
>>215102414Cutting the ears off and making an ear necklace from innocent civilians isn't dark?
>>215102443The way it's shown, not really. What I mean is, in the original Van Damme is like that naive kid, it's a fish out of water kinda story when they show him with the reporter. It's meant to be endearing. In Regeneration, his character is a wreck. He has trouble remembering things that happened yesterday, he's always ready to fly into a tard rage because he's been programmed to kill. He's undergoing an extensive psychological treatment, and of course in the end only he can go in and do the thing, so the treatment program is stopped and he once again is turned into a killing machine.
