Now, every barista spins the ipad and the default lowest tip is 18 or 20%. I have even been to a cafe that didn't spin the ipad, and they literally asked "would you like to add a tip" before making my food. I wasn't even given big parties or crazy tables, just 9 or 10 tables of couples on dates or regulars of the restaraunt. I make something like 180 in six hours taking care of the lowest priority tables before I even get my wages. One dude gave me 80 bucks on top of the tip he already left so I could buy my coworkers a round of beers. Its a great job if you aren't allergic to people and are willing to handle a bit of awkwardness. I just imagine what I would prefer from a server, do it, and people literally throw hundred dollar bills at me. Its fucking nuts. Even losing 9% of my tips at the end of the night to pay the bartender, bussers, and kitchen staff leaves me with an eighth of my rent. The wages themselves alone could pay my way but I just invest these into stocks in weapons companies.

Even black people tip me well, which is odd, considering the stereotype. It's usually fat people or ugly people who don't though, I dont know what that means in the grand scheme of things.
