>>215110488There's enough good in it for it to not be a bad movie, but it's got a lot of awkward parts too, and it doesn't quite fit together. A lot of spooky/occult/gnostic stuff in it, I can't help but feel like it would have been better if it either leaned way into it or just cut it out and went with a more conventional sci-fi romp. That said I'm always a sucker for the 'some characters are from nowadays Earth but they go to space which is full of humans doing Star Wars shit' type setting for a story. They made a few of these years ago, very rare today.

The Matrix by itself is very close to a 10/10, but then Reloaded is like an 8 or 9 (except that Chateau to Highway sequence is the best action in the whole trilogy), and Revolutions is more like a 6 or 7.
