What was her fucking problem? BPD?
>>
She seemed pretty stable throughout the show. Maybe a very lowlevel depression, if we absolutely have to pathologize her.
>>
>>215110318
She wasn't depressed. There was a whole episode about this. Her problem was that she thought she was better than everyone else which ultimately isolated her. She thought she was above all the nonsense like her sister constantly worrying about popularity. This made her not live life to the fullest and people to not get close to her.

I'm pretty sure the writers intended this to be the lesson.

She wasn't able to get blacked raw

why do jeets and kikes think about niggerdick 24/7?
>>
>>215110266
She was just a midwit girl who considered herlself "too smart" to have fun and develop meaningful relationships

People with an IQ of 95 act like this IRL too
>>
>>215110266
she knew she was a spinoff of a cartoon for retarded teenagers on a popular tv channel
>>
She banged Beavis. Ya it was cool

Imagine being smarter than average having a diagnosis.

This. The irony of Daria is that she was even more conceited than her sister, Quinn

>>
Bpd isnt real. It's possession by the spirit of jesebel
>>
>>215110266
>BPD?
How ignorant of BPD do you have to be to think there's even a chance she has it
>>
She was a teenager. She was smart but put her entire identity into being an intellectual. Just like Jane did as an artist or Trent a musician or Quinn a popular girl or the mom a lawyer or the teachers as teachers. The show is a study of types aimed at teenagers. The protagonist was audience surrogate of 90s teenager with plenty of other shit thrown in to make it entertaining. Idk, she wasn't meant to be some ideal hero, she's a teenage girl who goes to high school in an upper-middle class suburb in America in the 90s. Seems pretty spot-on to me, as a guy that was Daria's exact age throughout the show. This show really captures suburban teenage American life in the 90s.

she wasn't even a big fish in a small pond, she was just so far up her own ass she disappeared inside of it, to the point of alienating everyone around her even when they continually tried to connect with her despite her being a cunt. I'm sure zoomies have their version of this, but these people were everywhere. Some stuffy up their own ass art kid who was such an asshole even the actually talented and driven art kids told them to fuck off. Most of them died of a heroin addiction though so maybe the genome is mostly gone.

Daria needs BBC

Can't relate to people her age, lack of understanding of her world, lack of warmth.
>>

I act like this IRL
>>
>>215110266
She didn't want to truly understand that she was too smart for her own good.
Her intelligence impeded her and ultimately led her to live a meaningless life. Not to the world, but to herself.
At some point, if smart people lose in happiness /self-sufficiency/equilibrium to dumb cavemen, then they aren't "smart". They're conceited.
Her sister Quinn is litterally better than her at every possible level.
Her father being weak and her mother being the fucking dad of the house fucked her up beyond belief. She never truly could learn human connections.
>>
>>215110266
just an angsty teenager in her "tfw to intelligent to have fun" phase
im sure she looks back on high school with deep regret and cringe
>>
>>215113608
I was classically set up for the tfw2smrat trap but I loved drugs and pussy so it all balanced out and I have a family and experiences but I probably could be making more money. Things could be going better but they could be a lot worse. Also I would rather hang out with a genuine dumbass than a psued reddit tier faggot every time.

>>215110972
This is literally me but also I'll slavishly devoted if you show me even an ounce of attention in spite of it.
>>
>>215110266
>>215110619
How does that sound like bpd. She just seemed like a stuck up nerdy girl
>>
Daria is basically every Alanis Morissette song but as a TV show and tongue in cheek
>>
she just had a bad attitude. plain and simple
>>
>>215113743
I never mentioned bpd. I don't think she was meant to have any disorders. She functions perfectly fine so she wouldn't fit the definition of havys disorder.
>>
>>215110619
Turns out that being cynical and isolated is a typical experience for those with high intelligence and above. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=150imMO1wK0

I've never seen Daria but BPD chicks are dangerous lunatics. I didn't realize what it was like until I dated one.
>>
>>215110619
Wow she's literally me
>>
It's too bad we never saw how Daria turned out after college. I think that, after finding out it's really difficult to get a job as a writer, or to make it on your own as a writer, she would find a job that's a good fit for her mindset, such as police officer.
>>
>>215110266
No. She's WAY too stable for that. But she's a woman written by a man, so that's not shocking.
