The Orville is one of my favorite TV shows from the last 10 years or so. It was interesting to see McFarlane drop the irony and be sincere. Even if it got a little preachy near the end, in really enjoyed it.glad to see it return. Perhaps better understands Star Trek than the modern Star Trek shows. Most of the rest of what he's done is forgettable though.
