>>215111432I’d say one of the biggest issue with them is just the sheer lack of originality. The plots are mostly retreads of the OT, a lot of the designs are basically just minor changes to exisiting designs, the planets are mostly retreads of what’s already been seen and there just isn’t really any lore which doesn’t really work when it’s a sequel trilogy whereas the OT was able to just dunk you into the world. Pic related was probably my favourite design from them.
