Is it just me or is this board slower than it used to be?
Yep, board’s dead, site’s dead, world’s dead.
>>215112360Dick Laurent too
>>215112328Dead website
>>215112328Yup. Internet is tapped out, and AI has ruined everything. Time to get a new hobby.
everyone is afraid to post anything because the faggot janitors just delete every thread and ban you globally for three days even if it's on topic. There are movies that aren't even allowed to be discussed. Honestly thinking of going back to the sharty. Everyone should have stayed there after the hack, which changed nothing. Zombie website
>>215112328Whole site is slowing down, and has been for awhile.
>>215112328>>215112412>>215112431>>215112537I'm seriously thinking about leaving the internet outright due to the massive third world infestation. Going online now feels like looking for chocolate in a septic tank but there's a hole in your hazmat suit. Just complete garbage everywhere
>>215112328>It's your brain thats slower than normalBeen like this your whole life. Funny that you only now find that out>I'm sorry to have to break this down for you but maybe it was not smart for your mom and dad to be fucking and having children since they are brother and sisterThis explanes why you are retarted and why your brain works slower than normal people
>>215112730>explanesGOOD MORNING SAAR
>>215112328/b is even slower
>>215112649I've become an internet minimalist these days because its so shit. Try this, if you are interested. Do an internet-free day. Just wake up, unplug the router, turn off your data, and just see what happens. I usually do a screen-free Saturday, and its awesome.
>>215113280What about TV and radio?
>>215112412This
>>215112328No it was always retarded
>>215112537I feel like something changed after the hack, like a number of people took it as a sign to leave this place for good.Idk man, I haven't even been on 4chan that long but I'm seeing a big decline too. Boards are getting noticably slower, posts are getting worse.
>>215113354You could start with internet-free. Try it out as a test. Just see what its like. Obviously, tv/movies are on the internet, so its a bit of a gray area. I do it screen-free, so no internet, tv, movies, games etc. If I use my phone, its only talk and text. I never really considered radio desu And you dont even need to do a full day. Try a half day or something. The point is, that you will be amazed how much time and attention the internet (and screen-based activities) take from you. Like it is the ultimate productivity hack. I'll wake up on a Saturday, unplug the router, make a massive to-do list, and have it all done by lunch. And effortlessly. Usually I would only get half the list done over the entire weekend.
>>215113354not him but keep tv and radio if you want, if you already use your phone while watching tv it will be a different experience then trying to change too much at once usually results in people giving up it all, you can progress to not having tv or radio later on
>>215112537>There are movies that aren't even allowed to be discussed. Can you pastebin a few titles, or write their titles backwards?
>>215112649You think real life has improved? I got news for ya: everything is worse.
>>215113599>>215113620Thank you both
I haven't been posting as much because of school work
>>215113655Thank you for your service
also in my opinion swift discussion should be left on /mu/. yes even her concert movies. if she ever actually directs an actual movie then I guess you can talk about that here.
>>215113739I never see swift threads on here. Must not be in my glowie propaganda profile I guess.
>>215112328Fed ShutdownEglin faggots are laid off
>>215113771I literally see 3 a day. and most of the time it has nothing to do with a role she's done. just her latest album release
>>215113739>>215113771>>215113822I listened to her new album and it's pure shit. I have no clue wtf people see in that music, it's just nothing
Slow is good. I'm here since the beginning of 4chan, and the quality was much higher in the early days when it was slow.
>>215113969Would you call 2025 /tv/ high quality?
>>215113999It's probably the most high quality thing on the internet right now.
>>215113969Yah, I have definitely found that speed and quality of communication is inverse. Like I swear, the past several months as things have visibly slowed down, the average post size has doubled, and actually has some thought in it.
>>215112537i've gotten banned twice for quoting Forrest Gump in a Forrest Gump thread. I thought the first time was just a weird mistake but the second time i got flagged for that 15 minute period again. so strange
>>215112537Kekkk
>>215114032>It's probably the most high quality thing on the internet right now. This is painfully true.
The tranny jannies killed this board with insanely overzealous moderation. There definitely was a panic moment around the time that coomer first appeared here, the board was rapidly becoming the new 2006 era /b/, and the tranny jannies decided to go full nazi and 3 ban anything and everything. Board has slowly been strangled to death over the last few years.
>>215114103What's the ban reason
>>215113969People want to have multiple tabs open at once and then to cycle through them all and to have new posts in each tab each time they check
/tv/ is probably whiter than /v/ at least since we mostly talk about american movies on here
>>215114236Responding to off topic which is gay as fuck just delete the thread
>>215112649>t. im a weak little bitch waaaaahI blame my problems on other people waaaaaaah. Why would you look for chocolate in a septic tank you retarded mutt
>>215114356dumb shitskin proving my point exactly
>>215114348It’s a misguided attempt to apply the cp policy to off-topic, where responding to cp with anything is encouraging it to be posted. Doesn’t work if off-topic threads are not only allowed (fish tank, ecelebs) but the ones they’ll delete as off topic will stay up for hours/days.
>>215112328dead websitesoul dead generation of men
>>215114356looking past the bait I still wonder what the endgame of posters like this is. like what's the argument here? they're in every thread too exploding about nothing, just spamming regardless of topic. this site might be used to freely rage but traditionally it has had some direction to it
>>215114396Anyone have that image of redditors being scared and crying for mods after posturing about liking loli?
>>215114561It's just sour grapes from a foreigner.
>>215114561I think some of them are trying too hard to fit in. 4chan to them is the angry chud site so they need to seethe constantly.
Before the reboot a few months ago you could criticize the tiny hat club with impunity, now you get the banhammer.Really gets the old noggin joggin
>>215112328How many conversations can you really have about old media? There's zero reason to talk about new media. I liked Alien Earth but a lot of people hated it and it still got like 15 threads a day. What else is there to watch?
>>215114880What if we had a conversation about The Conversation?
>>215114880I swear, the early internet allowed enthusiasts from all over the world to discuss subjects of interest. That led to the flourishing meme culture etc. Now, everyone has ran out of anything to talk about. Its like the world needs a contraction into localism where people can invent things in relative isolation. Its like the internet was great for communication but not for creation.
>>215114905I watched it like 10 years ago, I dont remember much other than him tearing his own apartment apart. I prefer The Lives of Others just because the ending is more satisfying.
>>215114865Fucking kike pieces of shit.
>>215114865Nooticing kind of reached critical mass this year if you haven't noticed already
>>215112537RealWtf are they doing?
>>215112328Turns out nobody wants to interact with FSB bots.
>>215112328there's a J assigned to every thread on every board now, they insult, derail, act obnoxious, and just generally make it not as fun to be here, they decided "if you can't control it then you better destroy it" I guess
>>215114940>Its like the internet was great for communication but not for creation.I disagree. Internet was a nerdy space for nerds and creatives early on. Even into the mid-late 2000s, the internet and online spaces like forums and shit was considered "nerdy". All that changed with Facebook and smartphones. Now the internet is flooded with normies and everything is corporatized, additionally half the traffic on internet is now bots.Hard to create a thriving community of creatives and nerds and outcasts when anything half decent gets snapped up by the algortithm, copied and overexposed to death within a week. Any trend, any genre, any meme, any song. The second the algorithm gets it's hands on it, it's dead within a week.Nothing is allowed to grow beyond it's infancy.
>>215114940Ted K was right about a lot of things
>>215112537This. they are banning everyone for no reason at all
>>215115084>working out a creative thing>algo pushes me the thing I was trying to create by someone else>it’s literally now a race to be first to do a thing >just give up and figure why bother if someone will beat me
>>215114940>Its like the world needs a contraction into localism where people can invent things in relative isolationYeah
>>215112328OP is still a f*ggot as per usual.
>>215115115>they are banning everyone for no reason at allNo they're banning people because people make thinly veiled political threads on a board meant for discussing films and tv.Go to /pol/ or /b/ or /r9k/ if you want to scream about jews, you can say anything you want.
>>215115084All scenes die. You start out making stuff just for fun, then people realize they can make stuff for money, then money becomes the only goal. It happens to everything - why should the internet be any different. I still blame zoomers though - uncreative as fuck generation.
>>215115252> then people realize they can make stuff for moneyThis literally didn’t happen before 2014. Zoomers don’t realize, monetization used to be like saying nigger at a black church. You were a fake gay faggot sellout loser that nobody would engage with. At best you had a donate button or something. If you were making purely paid content or putting ads in your content you were completely ostracized
>>215115252>All scenes die.Yes of course, every idea runs it's course, gets stagnat and dies off. But the speed at which it happens have gone from a decade to a month. And hence any cultural movements never happen because it's over before anything can come from it.
>>215112328The most annoying thing is having the same threads up over and over again.
>>215113280How’s that going to work for my remote accounting job?
>>215112328someday a real rain will come and wash this board away.
>>215115115>no reasonPer the leak it's the reverse with private reasons for a ban.
>>215115322Do it on a day off, retard
>>215115392I DONT HAVE DAYS OFF RETARD FUCCCK YOUUUUU
>>215112537you might be able to say gamer words on the sharty but it's a shithole where you can't have serious discussions at all cause of underaged retards on there
>>215112537Quit posting your OT /pol/coomer trash and maybe your faggot little ass wouldn't get banned.
>>215115488>but it's a shithole where you can't have serious discussions at all cause of underaged retards on there>evetything looks exactly the same
>>215114236Aggravated Faggotry in the Third Degree
>>215112537>>There are movies that aren't even allowed to be discussedLike what?
>>215115758Didn't they shut the /tv/ board down like a month after 4chan came back?
